First Piano Recital

Last night Savannah had her first piano recital. She got to dress up in her halloween costume, which was all kinds of fun for her. She was so excited for this recital. She has practiced so hard.




She played so well!!!! As you can see she did not bring her book at all, so she played strictly from memory. She got a little mixed up with her first piece, Hannah from Montana (which was written before Miley Cyrus was born), but she pushed through it and finished the piece. Her teacher said that most students if they get mixed up at all they don't finish the piece, so she was thrilled that she pushed through and finished. She also played Crunchy Flakes (which is basically Jingle Bells) and did amazing!!!! Her teacher says that she is so talented (which I tend to agree with) and that she is her favorite student. Savannah really works hard and loves to practice. Way to go Savannah!!!!!
