SUMMIT IS THREE!

I had been prepping Summit for weeks that we was going to have a birthday. I didn't want it to just sneak up on him and catch him un-awares. The trouble with that is that every morning he would ask, "Is it my birthday today?" To which I had to reply, way more often than not, "No! Not yet." But his day finally came, and it could not have come on a better day. We had friends from Flagstaff in town so they got to come over and join in in the excitement.

Here Summit is watching his presents get opened, or I mean opening his presents.

Here's an overview shot of the group. L-R: Sierra, Sis. Holland #1, Elizabeth, Gwen, Melanie, Summit, Savannah, Nichole, Saige.

Summit blew out all his candles. He had been practicing on his food for a while. That is how we got him to blow on his own food, we told him he needed to practice in order to blow out his candles. I guess it worked.

Here is the proud Dad, and both Sis. Holland's. For those of you who don't know we knew the Holland family that lives in Flagstaff (the lady with sunglasses on her head) while we lived there, and then we moved next door to the other Holland family (the skinny little one that can eat whatever she wants and not gain a pound. Oh, did I say that out loud). It was great having all the kids over and especially great to have them eat all the cake.

And here is a shot of the aftermath.
