Summer Swimming Finals

Saturday was our final swim meet for the season. The girls did really well!!!


Here is Saige swimming her breaststroke. She is getting so good.


This is Sierra on the 50 backstroke. This is her favorite stroke.


Here we have Sierra (turquoise suit, yellow cap) and Savannah (purple suit, blue cap) at the beginning of one of their races. We keep trying to tell Savannah that she does not have to take off like an airplane. I am hoping that one day she will realize that she needs to get her hands in front of her. They are both getting better at getting off right when the whistle blows and not after.


Here is Saige's start. I love the track star in her. She actually did a dive this time. Up until now she gets down like this and then when the whistle blows she stands up and jumps in. It was good to see her diving.


Here we are just hanging out between races. It was nice to be in the pines again.


Sierra has made friends with this girl, Mary. Mary does not take swimming quite as seriously as Sierra, but she does well just the same. Sierra and Mary liked hanging out outside the gate and in the shade.

Here we have Saige winning one of her medals. She was the only 6 and under girl that participated. There were two boys her age that she swam with.


Here is Savannah winning her gold medal. She got it in the 50 Butterfly. She thinks she touched first in the 100 IM, but the other girl's timers stopped her first. I guess that is what happens when you don't have touch pads.


Here is Sierra winning her gold medal in 50 backstroke. She did a great job!!!!


Summit and Sedona did a great job too. Neither one got in the pool and they stayed out of the huge puddle outside and didn't get muddy like all the other kids.

I am so proud of my girls for all their hard work and determination. They are truly amazing!!!!!!
