The first cucumber

When we first moved here to Snowflake, Savannah had an activity day activity where they planted vegetables in a cup. Savannah chose cucumbers (yum!!!!). With faithful watering they quickly started sprouting and they needed a bigger home. So we put them in a pot. Now to those of you who know anything more than me about gardening will know that a pot is not going to contain 4 cucumber plants. So after about a day or so we asked the neighbors if we could plant them in their garden. Being the awesome neighbors that they are they consented. And they have watered them well. After months of hard work and diligent labor this is what we have to show for it.

There are more on the vines and we are excited!!!!!!!

GO SAVANNAH, MY LITTLE GARDENER!!!!! (well I like to think she is little)

Mmmm....I'm thinking that would be perfect for a cucumber and tomato salad! Great job, Savannah!
