Christmas Morning

Can't you just feel the anticipation? Growing up we waited on the stairs, but since we have no stairs we wait in the hallway. The kids were so excited, as you can well see.

This could not have been set up any better if we tried. Usually we make Christmas morning last as long as possible, but this morning we were running out of time (because Blake had to get to work), so we gave each of the older three a gift to open at the same time, and it just so happened that they all opened their dress.

Savannah opening tights. Nothing like getting what you need for Christmas morning. She was excited!!!

Saige got an art kit. She saw this at the store and desperately wanted it. Good thing we have Christmas so I have a reason to get things for my kids.

Summit got some cool gifts from his cousin, Zachary. He is wearing the hat he got and he is opening the Lightning McQueen and Mater. He was in heaven!!!

Sierra is excitedly opening a gift. If I remember right it was a backpack for hiking. So this summer we are going to go do some good ol' camping. I can't wait.

Blake got some snow pants that actually fit. So no, he did not get graham crackers even though I am sure he would have been very happy with that as well. We use a lot of food boxes, cause we are big recyclers (wink, wink).

Sedona finally got up (I was not about to make her be miserable the whole day). So she opened her gifts. Like most one-year-olds she did not care much about what was inside the wrapping........

....she just liked the paper.

Here is the aftermath. If you look close you might be able to find the kids.

So we got a lot of great gifts. We want to thank all our family who sent them. We loved being able to visit with family through ichat. Thanks Jared for setting that up. It was great to see family even though we were not able to be there. We hope you all had a great Christmas. We love you all!!!
