Stepping outside my comfort zone

So on the 10th of this month I was called into the Bishop's office and asked to serve in the Young Women's as the Beehive advisor. WHAT!!!!! I do Primary. I work with little kids who pick their noses and scream. I give hugs and tell them "Mom will be right back, she is just going to her BORING class. Wouldn't you rather stay here and have fun with us?." I have never served in the Young Women's and I am totally terrified. I am prepared to convince them to stay with bribery. And I am sure that I am going to be wishing they were screaming for their mother or at least saying something (or perhaps after I teach my first lesson tomorrow they WILL be screaming for their mother and then I will feel right at home). Anyway, just thought I would let the world (or at least the 4 people that read by blog) know I AM SCARED OF 12 AND 13 YEARS OLDS (which really won't shock my kids, according to them I am scared of a lolly-POP).

PS If any of my Beehives ever read this, ignore the above statement and just read the following statement. Also, the following statement is to be read to myself multiple times before church tomorrow to instill total confidence (if it is in writing it must be true, right?).

I am so excited to be in Young Women's. I am confident that I will say the right things at all times. I will always have all the answers and I am the coolest leader there is.

You will be SO awesome. Give yourself a week or so and you'll see what you've been missing. I love young women's so much I've told my bishop (in the past ward) that I'd start smoking if he released me. HA HA HA
Good luck, you'll do great. =)
