Week Two

We started this week with a very wonderful F.H.E. lesson on our Savior, Jesus Christ. I think it was the first time EVER that I felt like my kids learned something. Anyway, afterwards we had popsicles! YUM!!!!

Here is what happens when you let you boy got outside on a very sunny day, without putting on sunblock.

Not a proud moment for me!

The rest of the week went on pretty uneventfully, other than Saige telling me she had the best dream EVER in her life. What to know what it was about....... she was planning her wedding. YIKES!!!!

Friday, the kids did not have school so Blake took them swimming. They all seemed to have so much fun.

Saturday brought......

EGG DYING!!! What a blast! And some of the kids could not wait to eat them!

That night we had a flashlight easter egg hunt!!!!! (Thanks to Dee & Trish for this brilliant suggestion!) The kids had so much fun! I think next year, since we will have grass, we will do it outside!

Sunday morning our kids had to find their easter baskets. The easter bunny puts them in strange places.

The blanket chest!

Above the cabinets in the laundry room. It was decided that the Easter Bunny must be able to jump higher than Dad!

The dirty clothes hamper!

That computer cupboard!

And the kitchen shelf tucked behind all the bags!

Here are my sweet children in their Easter attire.

After church we went to a friends house, with a bunch of other friends, and had a big delicious dinner! The food was amazing!!!! And the company was incredible. I have to say that since we don't have any family in town, it was really nice to get together with some great people and just have a blast!!!

We had a great Easter Egg Hunt in the wind, which I think added to the awesomeness of it all!

We all had so much fun!!! Thanks to Russ & Marcie for letting us come and destroy your house!

how did Summit get the zebra stripes? wouldn't he have had to be standing/sitting still for quite some time to get them. He doesn't seem like the type that stays still for very long.

I am loving the whole hiding the Easter baskets idea. Now that the kids are a bit older I may have to ask the Easter Bunny to do that. We had so much fun last night. It is defenatly funner with more people around. We are so glad you guys came. You're family is so fun.

Jared- You are so right about Summit. Unless he is watching TV, then he sits incredibly still. He got the zebra stripes from the blinds. We have one of those "blinds in the door" backdoors and with the sun coming up it just happened like that. I took a picture in the artificial light of our kitchen but it just did not turn out very well. So this is the one you get. Never mind the fact I could have raised the blinds and gotten rid of the lines and had the light, but that would have meant that I would have had to go over to the door and lift them.

i thought it might have been shadows from a set of blinds. Figured that there was little chance he would sit still while he was outside.
