Then we let the jumping and throwing begin.
I love the look on the girls faces in these first picture. It shows the pure delight that can be when anticipation meets reality.
Summit and Sedona really didn't know what to think about the whole crazy ritual. Mostly they just stood there and looked at us like we were crazy.
For this picture I had to put all the kids in there and shot really fast.
Finally, after a lot of convincing, Summit decided to join in on the fun.
I could not resist the invitation to jump into the leaves. It was just too much for my inner child to withstand.
Blake climbed up into the tree and took some really great pictures.
Then all chaos ensued. There was no more "wait your turn" and we were all just jumping and having a grand ol' time.
Then we went back to posing for pictures.
These following pictures are of use trying to persuade Sedona of the fun in leaf hopping.
We were doing great too, until she got a leaf in her mouth.
All in all, I think she will do it again. Not necessarily of her own free will and choice, but mostly because her mother is so sold on the euphoric idea that leaves are too cool.
Then came the leaf picking. Every one of us were covered in leaves.
We had such a fabulous time we wanted to share some leaves with you.
CATCH!!!!!

Awesome! I thought about doing that - finding a huge yard to go rake for the experience. Maybe next year!
What a blast!! Looks like the kids loved it!
That is a massive pile of leaves. We did this at a park last year with our niece and nephew. You have our pile beat by at least 10 fold.
Looks like so much fun! And it always makes for great pictures! That is a TON of leaves!
Heather I love to hear the crunch of fall crisps leaves and oh raking a pile is up there on top an playing in them. What a great memory
