Grandparents Day!

Yesterday was Grandparents Day at the Elementary School, so I went.


I started the day off with going to Sierra's class. We made this scarecrow craft.



Sierra went around to the other 3rd Grade Classrooms and made these other two crafts. The leaf one is a recipe holder, so that will be fun to put to use.


While she was making those I took off and went to Saige's classroom. They put on a great program!!



The sang several songs. It was so cute to see Saige up there having so much fun! She had a big smile on her face the whole time.



Then of course came dessert. HOORAY!!!!!!!



Saige loved the pumpkin pie.


I did go into Savannah's class room, but they were not doing a whole lot. They did was is called "Battle of the Books" So the whole fourth grade was in the library watching 3 teams compete. They were answering questions about these 12 books that they read over the last 2 months. Savannah was really disappointed because she did not make it. Not because she did not read the books because she read all twelve, but because when they did the class competition her team did not win.
After all that we went to lunch and had a great meal. There were desserts after that too. So we had our fill and then wandered around until school ended and I pretended to be the bus driver (cause Saige really wanted to ride the bus home and the other two just wanted to come home with me. All in all it was a great day!!!
